Org metrics

Spend · balance · activity snapshot

Org metrics takes a live snapshot of your own dojobase account (credit balance, spend, recent activity) so a workflow can read those numbers and act on them, for example alerting your team the moment the balance runs low.

How it works

Most nodes work on the documents and data flowing through a job. Org metrics is different: it looks inward, at your dojobase account itself. When it runs, it captures where your account stands right now, how many credits are left, how much you have been spending, what has been happening lately.

Putting those numbers into a workflow means your account can watch itself. A common use is a low-balance alarm: check the balance on a schedule, and if it has dropped below a threshold you set, fire off a message so nobody is caught out by an empty balance mid-day.

It turns account housekeeping into something automatic. Instead of a person logging in to eyeball the balance, the workflow reads it and reacts, whether that is warning the team, logging the figure, or pausing work until credits are topped up.

Common use cases

Real situations where this node earns its place in a flow.

Warn before credits run out

Read your account balance on a schedule and alert the team when it dips below a threshold.

Send a weekly usage digest

Snapshot jobs and spend and email a recurring summary to whoever owns the account.

Let a workflow watch itself

Feed account metrics into a flow that reacts to your own usage.

What you set up

  • Add Org metrics where the flow needs the account snapshot, often right after a scheduled trigger.
  • Send its numbers to a step that checks a condition, such as a gate that fires only when the balance is low.
  • Wire the outcome to a notification so the right people hear about it.

Common questions

Can I use this to warn my team before we run out of credits?

Yes. That is the headline use. Read the balance on a schedule, compare it to a threshold, and send an alert when it falls too low.

Does it show another organization's account?

No. It reports on your own dojobase account only. It is a mirror for your workflow to check itself, not a view into anyone else's.
