Dojobase write
Write records to a Dojobase
The Dojobase write node saves the result of a job as a record in a Dojobase, your own structured table inside the platform. It is how a workflow turns a stream of one-off documents into a database you can search, filter, and build on.
How it works
Every job that reaches this node adds or updates a row. Over time you get a living table: every application, invoice, or submission you have processed, in one place.
Because it is structured data, you can filter it, join it to other tables, and even expose parts of it through a read API, without any of the source documents leaving your control.
Common use cases
Real situations where this node earns its place in a flow.
Turn documents into a table
Write structured results into a Dojobase so every processed file becomes a queryable record.
Keep a running history
Store each job to report on trends across weeks and months later.
Make results app-readable
Write to a Dojobase your other tools can read through the API.
Dojobase write in a workflow
A simple example of where this node sits in a flow.
What you set up
- Choose the Dojobase (table) to write to.
- Map the job's values to the table's columns.
- Each job adds or updates a record.
Common questions
What can I do with the table afterward?
Search and filter it, join it to other tables, build saved views, or expose a read-only slice through an API, all inside the platform.
Settings you configure on this node, stored under data.config in the workflow JSON. Leave a field unset to use its default.
dataStoreIdreqWhich Dojobase to write records into; no-ops without it.
Type: stringrecordKindRecord kind/label stamped on written rows.
Type: stringfieldMappingsMapping from output fields to the data store's schema columns.
Type: JSON stringfanOutShapeWrite one record, or fan out one record per array element.
Type: enum: single | arrayarrayPathPath to the upstream array when fanOutShape is array.
