Notify
In-app alert to your team
Sends an internal in-app notification (a bell alert) to your own team members inside dojobase. This is for your staff, not the customer.
How it works
Some jobs need a human on your side to look at them. This node pings your team inside dojobase itself, lighting up the notification bell so the right people know a job hit this point and may need attention.
Because it stays inside dojobase, it is the natural way to route a job to a reviewer: 'this application scored borderline, someone take a look,' or 'a high-value invoice just came through.' The customer never sees it. It is purely an internal heads-up.
You choose which teammates or roles get alerted and can include a short message with job details so the notification is actually useful at a glance.
Common use cases
Real situations where this node earns its place in a flow.
Ping the team in-app
Drop a notification in the app when a job needs attention.
Surface exceptions
Notify internally only when a rule flags a job worth a look.
Assign a case
Alert a specific member that a job is waiting on them.
Notify in a workflow
A simple example of where this node sits in a flow.
What you set up
- Pick which team members or roles should receive the alert.
- Write the notification message and include job values so it's meaningful (name, amount, status).
- Place it on the branch where a human should step in (for example after a borderline Classify or Score result).
Common questions
Does the customer or applicant see this notification?
No. It is strictly internal, delivered to your own team members inside dojobase. Use an email or text node if you need to reach the customer.
How is this different from Web push?
Notify shows up as a bell alert inside dojobase while someone is using it. Web push sends an operating-system notification to a device even when dojobase isn't open.
