CSV export

Extracted data → CSV file

CSV export turns the data a workflow pulled out of your documents into a spreadsheet file, laid out with the exact columns another system expects — so you can import it straight into your inventory, accounting, or ERP tool.

How it works

This node takes the structured data extraction produced — the fields and the line-item rows — and writes it out as a CSV file: one header row, then one row per line item. You choose the columns and what each maps to, so the file matches whatever the receiving system wants to import.

It's the bridge between reading documents and getting that data into the tools you already run. Point the column mapping at your system's import format once, and every processed document comes out import-ready — no re-typing, no reformatting.

Because the mapping is just configuration, the same node exports to any target: an inventory system's purchase-order import, an accounting package, or a plain spreadsheet for review. Chain it to an Email, cloud-storage, or download step to hand the file off.

What you set up

  • Set the columns: for each one, a header name and which extracted field it pulls from (a document-level field, or a per-row line-item value). Leave blank to auto-use the extracted fields.
  • Point it at the line-items field if yours isn't named the default.
  • Wire it to a delivery step (Email / cloud storage / download) to send or save the file.

Common questions

Can it match my system's exact import format?

Yes — the column mapping sets each header and the field it comes from, so the file lines up with what your inventory, accounting, or ERP tool expects.

What if a document has many line items?

Each line item becomes its own row, with the document-level fields (vendor, date, order number) repeated on every row — the shape most import tools expect.
