Image transform

Resize · crop · watermark

Resizes, crops, or watermarks images inside a flow, for example to standardize photos before they are stored or placed onto a document.

How it works

Images arrive in all shapes and sizes, and that inconsistency causes problems downstream: a photo that is too large, off-center, or unbranded. This node cleans images up as they move through the flow.

It can shrink or grow an image to a set size, crop it down to the part that matters, or lay a mark over it. A typical use is making every uploaded photo the same dimensions before it goes onto an ID card, a report, or into storage.

It sits in the middle of a flow, taking an image in and passing a tidied image out, so the steps after it always receive something consistent.

What you set up

  • Choose the adjustments you want: resize to a target size, crop to a region, or apply a watermark.
  • Point it at the image coming from an upload or an earlier step.
  • Send the standardized image on to be placed on a document or stored.

Common questions

Can I make every uploaded photo the same size?

Yes. Set a target size and the node resizes each image to match, so everything downstream, like cards or reports, lines up consistently.

How is its watermark different from the Watermark node?

This one marks images, while the Watermark node stamps text across the pages of a PDF. Use this when the thing you are branding is a picture, not a document.
